What Is HUB Certification?

The HUB Program is a state initiative that provides certification to for-profit businesses meeting specific criteria, such as being majority-owned (at least 51%) by a woman, minority individual, or service-disabled veteran, all residing and operating in Texas, and meeting SBA size standards. Being HUB-certified signals that a business meets certain ownership and operational standards, and it enables participation in state-funded projects, bidding opportunities, and diversity-focused programs.
